What do you do with a Scurvy Pirate?

Make 'em walk the plank? No, you throw them a Pirate Party of course! Parker & Conner are another year older and so it's time for a birthday party. After weeks of planning the day finally arrived and WHAT A SCORCHER!!! We managed to pick the HOTTEST day of the year to throw an outdoor party! Woo hoo. We had a great turnout despite the heat. Scott and Malinda saved the day by bringing a waterslide to keep the kids cooled off. Although it seemed that some of the "bigger kids" managed to try out the slide as well. We bbq'd hotdogs and indulged in ice cream and pirate cupcakes. The kids had a great time but I think next year we'll celebrate their birthdays in the winter time, ha ha!
