Surfer's Healing

Back in July Parker attended a 1-day surf camp for children with Autism. We drove down to San Diego to Pacific Beach. It was so awesome. Surfer's Healing provided lunch to all the families and they had a bunch of surfers who donate their time to offer this surf camp free of charge to children with autism. Parker was very nervous and reluctant at first but they scooped him up and took him out in the water and once he got on that board he was fine. They paddled out and waited for their wave and next thing I know my baby is surfing. I was so proud of him. They rode the wave all the way in to the beach and paddled back out and did it again. After two waves Parker was done. He said it was "awesome." It was such a fun day! I hope that he will want to do it again someday.

My little surfer boy!
Parker with his surfing instructor Seth.

After the surfing, the boys had a little fun in the sun!

Star Wars Episode ???

A short time ago at a Pottery Barn Kids store not too far away our young Jedi Knights got to meet up with some of their buddies for a photo op, lol. It was a star wars meet and greet at PBK. The boys were excited even though it was short and sweet. Step up take a picture and off you go.

Conner was in awe of the R2 unit
Best Buds
The force is strong with this one!
Not bad for a young Padawan
He's getting a taste of the dark side!

First Day of School

It's the First Day of School again and not only did I send Parker off to SECOND GRADE!!! I also had to send Bink to Kindergarten. I can't believe how fast they are growing. Conner was so excited to finally be able to go to the same school as Parker. I don't think Parker was quite as thrilled but what can you expect from a big brother. =)

Conner's First Nascar Race!

Jeff took Conner to his first Nascar race at California Speedway over Labor Day weekend. They had a great time but as you can see Conner needed a pitstop during the race and while Conner was recharging, Jeff and his friends had a little fun with him.
